ABOUT
Hev’s Journey | Artist Bio
Heavenleigh Villar, professionally known as Hev’s Journey, is a rising Pop/R&B artist and songwriter bringing youthful energy, emotional honesty, and confidence to every song and performance.
Originally from the East Coast and now based in New Mexico, Hev began turning her real-life experiences into music at a young age. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something bigger—a way to connect with other young people navigating friendship, self-confidence, growing up, and finding the courage to be themselves.
Blending Pop and R&B with influences ranging from Adele and SZA to Laufey, Hev has developed a sound that balances heartfelt storytelling with catchy, performance-driven music. Her growing catalog includes songs such as “Just Crush,” “Dance,” “You Can’t Help But Like Me,” and “Mirror Mirror,” showcasing her evolution from a young singer-songwriter into an emerging artist with a clear identity of her own.
On stage, Hev brings her music to life through energetic, choreographed performances designed to create a true concert experience. She has performed at festivals and community events along the East Coast, including the Sweet Auburn Springfest in Atlanta, and continues to expand her performance experience as she reaches new audiences across the country.
Beyond music, Hev’s Journey represents confidence, individuality, and youth empowerment. Having experienced bullying herself, Hev learned early that music could transform difficult moments into something powerful. Those experiences helped shape her desire to encourage other young people to speak up, believe in themselves, and never allow someone else to dim their light.
As Hev continues releasing new music, developing her live show, collaborating with other creatives, and pursuing festival and performance opportunities nationwide, her mission remains simple: make music people can feel, create performances they remember, and inspire young people to confidently embrace who they are.
For Hev, it isn’t just about where she is going—it’s about the journey.
